We are committed to supporting and caring for our environment so that our employees, our neighbors, and our customers can enjoy all our Earth has to offer for generations to come.

As a manufacturer and supplier of plastic products, there are a number of things we do to operate responsibly and enhance the beautification of our world. Plastic is an essential component of our economy; it delivers life-saving devices to hospitals across the globe. It hosts the growth of plants that become our food, resources, and so much more. It protects the engines and components that power equipment of all shapes and sizes. It supports efficiency and organization across all manufacturing processes. And the list goes on.

Environmentally Responsible Plastic Manufacturing

Our responsibility in supporting this demand, is to do so in a way that protects our environment. Reducing, reusing, and recycling are core to our manufacturing philosophy, and our success.

Our Earth Friendly Closed Loop Production Cycle

For most of our products, especially our line of horticulture containers, our production process starts by using reclaimed material. Every year we extrude tens of millions of pounds of material generated from post-industrial scrap or re-ground scrap generated in our manufacturing. This material is then thermoformed and shipped to customers across the world to do big things, like food crop production, reforestation projects, floriculture research, erosion control, native plant restoration, and more.

After use, these products can be recycled as a 5, 6, or 7 because they are made out of polystyrene (PS), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene terephthalate (R/PET) or acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).  We also dedicate time and resources to explore and trial alternative biofriendly materials, searching for a solution that is kinder to our earth yet retains product quality standards.

Our Minnesota manufacturing facilities also positions us well to minimize transportation waste as we ship products across the continent.

Using & Reusing Plastic

The plastic we use, called "thermoplastic," is unique in its ability to be melted and molded time and time again to create new products. Every year we extrude tens of millions of pounds of reclaimed material, to make roll stock that is used to manufacture new plastic products. Most of the horticulture products we manufacture begin with 100% recycled material.
